Richy is designed around small, clear learning steps rather than one fixed level for every skill.

Set up the learner

A parent or carer adds learning-focused information such as preferred answer mode, current response style, interests and areas to practise.

A short baseline can place foundation skills separately and conservatively. If there is not enough evidence, Richy does not guess.

The learner can tap a picture or say an answer. Spoken answers are checked separately from visual understanding.

Missed items, weak areas and first-try performance help decide what should appear again.

A learner can be further ahead in one skill than another. Richy does not force every area into one overall level.

Practice evidence can confirm, raise or correct the original starting placement over time.
